The announcement was made about two weeks. It is still showing in the mid-column on the main page.

The usage of a user ID to access specific content is no longer supported, as was the case before, in favor of generic search, such as you see on other sites, by the use of the first and last name. There might still be old support still in effect but on the long run, the adjustments will be mostly done accordingly to the industry standards.
