>I remember reading it, but I don't remember what it said. And can't find it because I don't know what the main page is. I thought I would get there by clicking on HOME above (which opens right here instead of new window...) but no, the word "download" is mentioned there as title of this thread and nowhere else.
HOME brings to the main page. This is also where the login is. In the middle, there is a section for the news on the announcement. In there, it resumes, and that is for the viability and for the best interests of the product, that the concentration of the work towards it will be done on the forum engine and, content publishing, including by the same the previously known News and Downloads sections, is no longer supported.
>On this page, "Best practices, Corporate profile, Web Site Hosting, Testimonials" serve no need of mine. They actually smell of LevelExtreme behaving just like any other faceless corporation trying generic marketing tricks on random visitors. I'd expect to see these on the homepage, that's where those random visitors may arrive. Over here, I'd appreciate the UT style originality and doing the useful things (i.e. keep the FAQ and downloads where they were for years), not industry standard. There's no industry standard forum which has kept me for almost 20 years, and UT did.

>Hey, that's on monday - 20 years since I'm a member here :). I'll have to find the dustiest bottle to celebrate :).
All this transition was a big effort that required major adjustments. There is still some of that in progress.
