The fact that he has his convention is his concern alone. The fact I'm worried about is - as Sorin said - Hungarian notation is ugly and wasteful and is a workaround to the way Fox really works. Better people have added mdot to the product, so use it because it's a good thing.

New developers do not know there is a problem and that is a serious danger in and of itself. I saw a guy fail to debug 3 lines of code which would have been no concern if mdots were used.
