If you set it globally, it will apply globally, i.e. to all your comboboxes and listboxes - which may be good, if they are so fast on that one combo, then they'll be as fast everywhere. OTOH, for thos slower ones, if they type the 2nd character after the _incseek expires, they won't get to the item beginning with those two characters, but to the item beginning with this 2nd character. IOW, for a fast typer, typing "MO" in a states dropdown should bring up Montana, but for a slow one it would bring Massachusets first, then Oregon.

Perhaps one of those autosearch combos would satisfy both.
