It's amazing, in some ways she's well beyond her age (reading, writing, math, school in general), but in other ways she's a normal 8 year old. She does well in school (and we get many positive notes from her teacher), but the minute she walks out of school, she wants to play and doesn't want a thing to do with school.

When I was 8, I was watching Medical Center on TV and trying to figure out adult TV sitcoms and trying to figure out chemistry sets. She watches cartoons and Disney movies and plays with her dolls. And believe me, I'm fine with that. I'm so glad she isn't the little prince of darkness I was at that age :)
