>>>I am not a lawyer. Anyway, I think unethical is a better word in this case.

>>I agree; at least it is unethical. How would the person who wants someone to decompile the code feel if he developed a program and found that other users were using it without paying for it; this is the same for Refox.

>There is no indication in the message that the person wants to decompile a program that is not his. And even if it is not, buying a legal licence of Refox does not make it any more ethical.
>Asking someone else to decompile something for you and whether it is ethical to decompile a program that is not yours are two total different things and should not be mixed up in the discussion.

>The real question is whether it is ethical to violate or circumvent the EULA?
No -- he is asking to use a program that was not purchased by him. He wants to use the program for his own benefit. It is not a matter of whether the program that he wants to decompile is his or not. The matter is that is wanting to use a program that he has not purchased for his own benefit. It is does not matter that it is someone else that is doing it for him; he is using a program that he did not purchase. So the question is, how would he feel if he found someone using his program that they did not purchase. I would expect he would not like it.
