>>You believe there is widescale organised voter fraud. I can hear the black helicopters circling over your house right now. Organised fraud leaves traces. Where are the signs of tens of thousand of votes being organised. The paper trails, the emails the witnesses spilling the beans because they fell out with the secret vote fraud committee.

Nice. I believe in the RISK/likelihood of voter fraud when there's no validation of eligibility, or even production of ID. That's a truism, not an argument invented by me to justify your straw man. Black helicopters? Please. Paper trails? How. Sheesh, you could have put on an accent and voted in the US. How would they track that?

IMHO this goes along with "not only must Justice be done; it must be seen to be done." Should be the same for voting, especially now that it's popular to refuse to accept the result. A slack process makes it easy to imagine that a result you don't like is caused by Mexicans or Russians.
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us.
