>>The slackness of US voting identification is remarkable. The norm in the free world includes registration in a single electorate and positive ID. Yeah I "get" that some disadvantaged communities may not have IDs which could be a recipe for disenfranchisement - so those people need to be assisted to get ID. That's far more democratic than tolerating the current risk of widespread voter fraud, especially now that so many people like the idea of popular vote.

>You believe there is widescale organised voter fraud. I can hear the black helicopters circling over your house right now. Organised fraud leaves traces. Where are the signs of tens of thousand of votes being organised. The paper trails, the emails the witnesses spilling the beans because they fell out with the secret vote fraud committee.

There is no real voter fraud here - proven a zillion times. Of course Trump is still convinced that 3 MILLION + illegal Mexican's voted for Hillary - a laughable statement. The guy see's things that are not there - 3 million invisible voters, 1.5 million invisible people at his inauguration - etc. Its just more examples of why he's unfit. So the popular vote results were obviously correct. Now Trump DID win the electoral college vote - so he won the presidency. BUT as far as I'm concerned the electoral college failed to do their duty. Their purpose to keep some psychopath man-baby like Trump from getting into office in the event the people are so dumb that they vote such a person in - so what they should of done is prevented him from winning - and they didn't do that - all they've become is a useless rubber-stamp - they didn't do their jobs.
So no issue with voter fraud - but there is a huge issue with voter suppression - thankfully some courts have stepped in to block some of these illegal laws - but its still a big problem.
