Hi,
Today I see a message, when loading Outlook, that Office 365 was being updated. F-ing MS does not even ask if I want to.
After this update, I cannot receive Gmail emails in my Outlook, Unless I disable Avast (the AV). Note that messages can be sent but not received. The Outlook shows the error "The server does not support the connection encryption type you have specified."
In the Outlook, the gmail accounts have the Incoming server (POP3) set to 995 and the box This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL) is checked.
Then I looked at the Avast settings (attached is an image). I found a message online that says to CLEAR all the port number in these settings. I want to understand the ramifications before I do.
Any suggestions, please?
