>>Part of the problem here is that Trump calls the MSM fake when they report what he says.

>The way I heard it, they were not exactly quoting him but rather said what he said, in fewer words. Then he said they misquoted him. Now they are quoting him verbatim, which somehow made things worse.

>Does anyone keep tabs on the number of words he uses? Did he learn any new ones lately? He shouldn't have left the position of presidential sentence composer vacant, reduction of gov't or not.
He appears to have a vocabulary equivalent to that of about a 10 or 11 year old child from what I've seen. I assume that whoever is writing his speeches is intentionally keeping the words very simple so that he can read it. And I don't think he actually ever even reads what he's gong to say until he's up there reading the speech. He'll say something - then say "oh yes that's soooo true!" - like he was just reading it for the first time ever. The guy is a freakn moron.
As far as NEW words - he did recently use a new one "surety" -- like when he said “Look at the way I’ve been treated lately, especially by the media. No politician in history — and I say this with great surety — has been treated worse or more unfairly.” So while he did actually use a new word, what he said while using it was ignorant. I suppose FJK who had his head shot, or Lincoln who was shot by an actor don't count? Or Harrison, Taylor, Garfield, McKinley, Harding, Roosevelt all of whom were shot. I'd say being shot counts as being treated worse than being criticized by the media because you're an incompetent idiot.
I understand that the Pope gave him a book on climate change. That seems like a rather pointless gift to give him because you KNOW he's not going to read it - ever..
