I would greatly appreciate any assistance with this problem. I'm trying to modify code from 6.0 for 2.6. 2.6 does not seem to like the following statement:

append from "C:\Data\Moves.xls" type xls

I continue to get an 'Invalid Excel Format' error. The Moves.xls file is in Win95/5.0 format.

Any suggestions?
