Craig, I have a bit of a problem with the append routine. Since I've noticed that you'vebeen talking about, hopefully I can look upon your expertise for assistance. I'm receiving an 'invalid excel file format' error. This is the statement that is causing this error:

append from "C:\Data\Moves.xls" type xls

and this is being appended into a FoxPro database file (v2.6)

Any hints as to where I'm going wrong?
