Yes, I went through something like that after a heart attack a long time ago.
Sure- high fat foods aren't good, but neither are carbs!
A few years ago, I was bloating up and tried the South Beach diet.
It worked for me and I'm still on a modified version of it.
I miss fruits the most, but they're loaded with sugar and are therefore off limits.
My cheating consists of wine and an occasional beer.
I'm not a monk, after all.
Recently after a checkup my MD said he'd recommend me as a Marine recruit.
I declined the invitation.
Anyone who does not go overboard- deserves to.
