Then I can't help you, I haven't used VFP6 since 2001 when VFP7 was released. Now I use VFP9 exclusively.

Maybe there's an additional parameter to getfile() to disable this, I really don't know. In VFP9 I can use "getfile('csv','Pick a csv-file','Done',2)".
