I liked the movie a lot for the “plot” and the “style.” The movie is also very helpful in “testing” the comprehension of a “normally” spoken French. I am proud that, after about 3 years of studying, I understood about 50%. Clearly the French in this movie is considerably slower than many other French series that I have been watching recently. But it is a start.

How much/often do you have to use it in your day-to-day life?
When I visited Brugge in 2013 it was before I even thought of learning French and kind of didn't pay attention to what language people spoke in stores and restaurants.
