The people didn't have the same choices then as they did in the last election either. Just because the results of one's stupidity doesn't always end the same doesn't mean there is no stupidity. If things would of turned out differently and we had the brilliant mind of Sara Palin as a vice president then the results of the stupidity of the American voter would of been more meaningful - but that doesn't change the facts that as a whole the American voter is stupid and lazy does it? Today's Americans simply do not know much about politics or their government - because they are either to stupid to grasp it or to lazy to learn about it - or some combination of both. Putting Trump in office is proof of this and is a meaningful result of said stupidity.
