>>So what's your point? You suggesting that Trump is smarter than HRC or what?

Perhaps we can agree that a politician who directs gratuitous insults at people who voted for her side last time and could have delivered another win - well, its not the smartest play in the book.

Meanwhile all the fables about Russians and the rest of it seems superfluous when you review the series of faux pas that millions (even tens of millions) of voters say made them change sides.

Podesta's leaked corruption including undermining of democracy by leaking Presidential Debate questions to one side in advance was bad enough, as was cynical concoction of fake pressure groups to undermine Catholic hierarchy, that pushed millions of Catholic votes towards Trump despite his crudity. Weasel words about late abortions and calling voters names probably was just the icing on the cake. You may call other voters "stupid" but they weren't stupid enough to reward this sort of behavior.

And now states are refusing to co-operate with the investigation of voter fraud. Of course the question will be asked "what have they got to hide" with predictable next steps if some states (like California) leave federal elections wide open for fraud: their loopholes and potential risk will be closed at federal level because the states refuse to cooperate. And the frantic crying of "Wolf!" wrt voter disenfranchisement will be ignored because people have been screeching "Wolf!" about all sorts of nonsense for 6 months now.
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us.
"
