Just because someone is an intelligent person doesn't mean they know anything about politics or our government. You can listen to the radio on Sunday afternoon and hear people go into deep analysis about a football game and all its various complexity - but the same dillweed can't name the 3 branches of government, who there representatives are or more than 1 (if any) supreme court justice. Call it focused-stupid or something if that makes you feel better.
