>>I wasn't even aware of this. Mostly because the UT search results rarely show up as a result to FoxPro issues.Nobody will end up on the UT by accident and start browsing which severely limits the traffic that would have come through here. For example, look at the search result that you link to. You can't see anything else on the page - so nobody is going to look around beyond the immediate link.

Only if you're logged in. Try it with another browser when you're not logged in.

Yeah that would help, but people expect the URL to reflect the current content and the UI is pretty dense. For those that use it all the time - no problem. But that's not what I'm talking about here - it's the casual one off user who searches finds something and then hopefully sticks around to add to the traffic and content here. Your base is pretty much the same people you've had for years. That's not all due to the format of course - the slow demise of FoxPro certainly is doing the same to other sites including the little bit of traffic on my message board - for a few reasons similar to your's (frames until a few years ago).

I understand the issues trust me - I used to run a frames based forum for many years myself. However, ever since I switched from Frames to a non-frames version with minimal AJAX navigation Google does a MUCH MUCH better job indexing my content. I can actually find things now, where before that was hit or miss.

I didn't really want to stir up a hornets nest here, but it just seems like we missed a good opportunity in the past to keep the community going a little longer.
