I would hardly characterize the founding fathers and those who wanted independence as "wild eyed lefties".
A kid making X dollars plus tips delivering pizza is HARDLY being oppressed by the CEO of Whatever-Pizza.
I made three bucks an hour at age 18 in 1983 flipping burgers and cooking liver that made me want to puke, while I'm sure the CEO of Elby's/Bob's Big Boy back in 1983 made a ton more money than I did.
Four years later I got my first computer job and made enough money to pay my own rent. I now make really good bucks. How did I do that? I worked my ass off.
This is bad history and bad logic. I really thought you knew better. If I wanted this kind of insight, I'd watch more MSNBC.
