I am looking for the Meteor target of an local DB mirroring the (security-filtered) backend records adding offline capability, but with SQL, not Mongo backend/ Minimongo client as was in Meteors first offerings....

Could you go a bit more into detail ?
Does FIC implement a client-side DB for offline first mode (murdered WebSQL, SQLite for Cordova, IndexedBD if not on Google-Webview-basis) ?
