>>Good article.

Except that the AG's role simply is to enforce and honor the laws passed by Congress. Previous AGs may have turned a blind eye to deliver something closer to their own (and your) preference, but even if you like the result, that's a first step towards wider disrespect for the law if even the AG sets that example. Whereas Sessions is an old school purist who wants to see the law honored.

Don't like the law Sessions is enforcing? Lobby your congressperson. Get the law changed. If you can, you can be confident that Sessions will honor the new law just as diligently as he did the last. This is how things are supposed to work in the Republic and ought to be something to praise Sessions for, not attack him.

The part of the article I did like, is the description of willful misuse of stats. Too much of that going on, including misuse of unfamiliar/absurd calculations to further a narrative.
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us.
"
