>>can leave both of us embittered and distracted!

Impossible.
Does that guy on the right, with that gorgeous and brilliant woman (the sum of our IQ's might not equal hers) and a part of his amazing family on his left, look embittered or distracted?
For those who haven't done the Circle Line Cruise around Manhattan - it's awesome.

>CDC's calculation for 2016 is that 4.4% of people needing care, could not get it because of cost.
That's the NUMBER.
Not the number of uninsured nor the quality of insurance.
We need to focus on getting care - not insurance- to people who can't get it for whatever reason.

Going back .. when I said "Don't believe your own BS." I was referring to the pols on both sides of the ACA debate who have become prisoners to dogmatic positions- on either side- that make no pragmatic sense, but are inextricably wedded to them.
Certainly didn't point that to you or anyone here.
If my clumsy syntax implied that I pointed it at you or anyone here, yes it was impolite.
Mea culpa, Mea maxima culpa.

JFK once said that in political discourse we don't have friends or enemies - we have allies and opponents.
Today's ally could be tomorrow's opponent and vice versa.
But the privilege to enter the fray with someone whose talent you value is a rare one.
Anyone who does not go overboard- deserves to.
Malcolm Forbes, Sr.
