Hi All,

After the 100th time of someone rebuilding our project without the correct data path, which usually means our common libraries can't find the include files.. I decided to mark all of the common libs with the read only attribute on the NT server...

Well, this slows the PM down ALOT... it took forever for the project to load. I don't know why... all the apps libs are read only, but local, and they do not cause this.

Also... someone was wondering why Visual Source Safe slowed their project down so much... I wonder if it was because they had files on the network that were marked as read only on the server?

Can anyone concur this behavior... Is it a bug, or is there a fix?
