Phyllis,

If the moste recent driver downloaded from HP don't work, have them step back through the HP laser printer drivers from the Windows CD until they find one that works. I've never had problems using the LJIII drivers. The LJ5 and 6 drivers are notoriously bad.

>I have a VFP 5.0a application in which about 400 users use it nationwide. I have been having quite a bit of trouble with printer drivers - especially with HP - but once they get the latest printer drivers they are basically all set. I do have one user who is having unusual trouble as follows:

>The print job goes to the printer but it sets off an error on the printer at the printer's display relating to paper not being loaded correctly - but it is loaded correctly. She also gets an error about not being able to print to lpt1.

>Does anyone have any suggestons on what to lood at? Could she have some bad VFP files? HP tells her that it is nothing wrong on their end but in my application. The printer works fine in all other programs.
