I agree with what you and JR are saying....and there's a great movie quote that sums it up.

In the Green Mile, one of the head administrators rips into an idiot guard for doing something insanely stupid. When the guard tries to give a ridiculous excuse, the administrator sums up the guard's lack of common sense by shouting, "Boy, how many years did you spent peeing on a toilet seat before someone told you to put it up before you start?"
