>>Trump gave two veiled hints at his press conference at Trump Tower, that people don't have all the facts yet. And lets not forget that Sessions has kicked off a Civil Rights investigation into the murdered woman.
>>
>>In the mobile phone age there are a lot more videos than those via the MSM. From what Trump said, IMHO it was a mistake for reporters, celebrities and politicians to immediately make declarations and decry Trump for not singling out Neo-Nazis and terrorists.

>>As an example, what if the driver of the car had a psychiatric diagnosis and a history of violence, including against his own mother?

>>What if video emerges of large groups of armed counter-protestors throwing rocks or mounting attacks on protestors who had a permit to be there?

>>What are the consequences if those who fired off instant virtue signals and attacked Trump for not doing the same, are shown to have the wrong end of the stick?

>I agree with what you are saying. I don't like Nazis but since the Constitution guarantees them the freedom of assembly and expression of their view, I will not go fight them.
>
>Another point is that some of the demonstrators were not white supremacists but simply against removing historical monuments. It is possible that if the people felt safe to go out and express their opinion about historical sites, there may even be blacks and/or Latinos demonstrating. Who knows.

>I love PBS and the documentaries about the civil war, slavery, and other dark sides of the american history. Should we cancel the PBS shows too?
>And the last, the driver was a crazy man and deserves the punishment. But he was crazy to his own mother; nut.

>Police and city should take responsibility too.

Putting Nazi's on the same moral plane here as those protesting them is not right. The fact that racism is so embedded into into our society that you are unable to grasp the significance of having monuments to traitors and slave owning racists or forcing black children to go to a school named after one of these dirtbags is disturbing.
