>> there is FAR FAR FAR more violence that comes from the alt-right than the far-left. If you look into this you'll it's like 36 to 1 overall and in the past 10 years when you look at murders committed by domestic extremists in the United States of all types, right-wing extremists are responsible for about 74 percent of those murders. You can't not try to equate these two groups not only in terms of moral standing and human decency or acts of violence. Has it always been this way? No - but you have to go back to the 1970's to see any significant extremism from the far left - whereas we've had this cycle of ar-right extremist since the 1990s

Are you serious? Check out the peaceful non-extreme leftist response earlier this year when Milo Yiannopoulos was scheduled to give a presentation about "Cultural Appropriation" at UC Berkley:

I get it that Milo is hated and that attacks on people like him magically become virtuous if you call them a Nazi, but free speech is free speech and if you don't want to hear him, don't turn up. Because giving oxygen/paying attention to minority unsavory viewpoints just encourages them.
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us.
"
-- Shakespeare: Coriolanus, Act 1, scene 1
