Yes, there are people getting angry about a statue. And their thought processes (or lack) are similar to the fools who suddenly decided that the NFL Washington Redskins team should change its name.

I'm not sure what you mean by "incomprehensible". Yes, I understand why people are making so much about statues of Lee and others. But I still say their priorities are screwed up.
