>>...but you can for sure blame the authorities for not doing their jobs. For example - they let the driver who plowed into people drive away.

I'm not sure there were any cops in attendance, though they did grab the culprit shortly afterwards. On various dubious websites you can find several videos not yet shown by the MSM. In one, the car is seen accelerating towards marchers with their backs turned, plowing through them into the back of 2 other cars stopped for the marchers. Moments later, armed people run up behind the crashed car to attack it with baseball bats and poles. The car then reverses away at speed, crushing a woman who ran up behind it against a parked pickup. From what I saw, she was critically injured. This poor woman didn't carry a weapon herself, instead seeming to lean against the back of the car as if to prevent its departure. I see no police in attendance during any of this, but then you couldn't expect them to be if it wasn't a permitted march. There is one short video of a marcher on the sidewalk striking the car with a pole or baseball bat just before the attack, which some insist caused the driver to accelerate away in fright before hitting the other marchers, but in other videos it certainly looks as if the car had already accelerated. You can see numerous marchers with phones out taking videos, so the absence of numerous confirming versions does make me go "hmm" especially since almost all of them appear to start only moments before the car drives into protestors.

>>I know there are rumors that the police were ordered to stand down but according to snoops that is false - but even so they could of handled the whole thing better.

There's at least one video of articulate African Americans remonstrating with lines of police for standing by as people got thumped. But (and you'll hate this) Trump is correct that there's no validity in rushing to judgment based on superficial information and emotion. My understanding is that the FBI is investigating her death, so lets just hope they come up with something more definitive and quicker than the Russian "matter" has dragged on so far.

Meanwhile, Boston shows how it's supposed to be done: heavy police presence in and around the "Free Speech" rally with zero tolerance for armed thugs of any description. A pathetic small group of rally goers was kept separate from thousands of counter-protestors. They insist that others were prevented from joining their ranks, but the disparity in numbers is too huge to be rationalized away. Unfortunately this positive story about society was slightly spoiled by the usual culprits hiding in the counter protestors to throw urine, bottles, rocks, and other projectiles: they were kept too far from the rally so they threw it at police instead. Several were arrested.
So two points are perfectly evident: first, the presumed hate-filled rally goers are a tiny minority, not worthy of all this attention they are given. Sheesh, people largely ignored the Daily Stormer and KKK for decades, so who does it benefit to give them oxygen now? And second, the left needs to sort out the thuggery in its own ranks if it wants the moral high horse.
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us.
