Thanks for your help.
I couldn't get Marco's code to work as it was, so I mashed it up with the code from Martina's
zip file and did get that to work. It's attached.
This is good because another problem it was causing was making the text 'disappear' in combo boxes
when the controlsource is a local view.
I also found that you have to re-start the machine after changing the magnification for the fix to apply.
