I read Profiles In Courage while I was a college student.
One of our profs made a speech that I thought was courageous and I sent a copy to JFK.
He replied with the attached.
Our course the prof, a real JFK fan, went bananas when I showed him the letter.
JFK was in the senate then.
Truth be told, he wasn't much of a senator, but my generation loved him anyway.
Anyone who does not go overboard- deserves to.
