We would like to be able to by pass clear a printer buffer. The printer we are using is a receipt printer. The problem is that the users are pressing the print button twice. The other transaction is still in the printer buffer when the stick the other receipt. I realize that this should probably be a training issue but you don't know the type of people we are dealing with. Or maybe you do :). We tried sending control characters but they seem to be at the end of the buffer so this does not help.

Is there someway to bypass the print buffer and send a control directly to the printer? How do we clear the windows printer buffer? Any help you can give us with this problem would be greatly appreciated.

TIA

Dan
