Hi,
Two questions:
1. I already have SQL Server 2008 express on my PC. If I install and download SQL Server 2016 express, will it override the 2008 or will the two versions co-exist?
2. I found two links for SQL Server 2016 express; Express Core and Express Advanced. What is the difference?
TIA
UPDATE. I read online that I cannot install SQL Server 2016 express on Windows 7. Since I don't want to upgrade Windows 7 to later versions, what is the latest SQL Server 20?? express can be installed on Windows 7? And still, the question 1 above, will it coexist with the SQL Server 2008 express?
UPDATE 2. After reading a bunch of online posts, I think that SQL Server 2012 Express is what I need to add to my PC, that would allow me to restore from the customer .bak file. But I am wondering. Since the SQL Server 2008 Express is now installed in the folder c:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\... where would the SQL Server 2012 Express go?
