This profile is assigned to users. Citrix manages the license requirement for concurrent users. So in your diagram the VM is dynamically created and started by Citrix and has the VFP application. This is then presented to the user like a remote connection.

Big question. From my diagram you see that the SQL Server is "connected" the VM server where the application resides. But I am wondering, does it matter if SQL Server ODBC driver is on the desktop (the right-most object in my diagram)?
That is, when a user at a regular Windows desktop load the VFP 9 app from the Citrix server, does this Windows desktop communicates with the SQL Server?
