Only thing I've noticed is that I drain my battery faster than I did a year ago. I always carry a portable charger that's good for 2-3 charges, so it's not a big deal.
I never upgraded to the 7 because there was just no compelling reason.
I have mixed views on the 10. I have yet to read a new feature that I'd love - but I also don't want to be several versions behind.
I really love the new Samsung phones - but, I still prefer iOS over Android.
