>>>You probably mean you got your 6 Plus in 2015, not 2005.

>>Ha, yeah, got it in 2015. Having a 6 plus in 2005 would have been a neat trick.

>>My brother in law has the newest Samsung. The phone is stunning. The Samsung offerings are simply better than the best iPhone.

>>And truthfully, the HTC phones I had from 2010 to 2013 were really sweet. It's all about personal experiences and what people feel the most comfortable with. Even though iOS isn't perfect, I still prefer the iOS environment and apps over Android.

On the app side I have nothing I really miss on Android, but that might be due to not having looked at newer iOS stuff ;-)

>Can you be a bit more specific in describing your preference ? Have not looked at iPad again, very happy with my 2 trusty Nexus7 (2013) tablets. Samsung Galaxy4, 5 + 7 in the in the extended family the 4 working rather well for a relatively dated device and the 7 a joy to use, and personally still happy with my trusty Nokia E51 for simple comm stuff with battery holding for a week ;-)

Again, it just boils down to personal experiences. I am a pure consumer on my iPad 4 mini and iPhone 6 Plus. Here are some of the apps I frequently use:

- Verizon TV mobile (to either watch certain TV shows, watch DVR recordings, manage my DVR, etc) when I'm not near a TV
- The ESPN family of apps to watch ESPN 3 and ESPN Web sports
- iOS app versions of magazines I frequently read
- iTunes to sample music
- The Netflix and Hulu apps

I just find the iOS versions to be a bit cleaner than the Android version. I've tried these apps on recent Android devices. While they certainly work, they crash a bit more often on me.
