I am having a remarkably similar problem. In a VFP 5.0 application, there is a combobox from which users can select a value to populate a grid. Users can add values to the RecordSource (Fields) of the combobox using code accessed by a button. This setup might not be the best way to do this, but it has been working fine until a user experienced a machine crash today while adding a value.

The value added during the crash works fine. Values added after the crash by other users also work fine. If a user selects the 'crash' value from the combobox and later tries to select another value, the error messages you mentioned appear (Alias '' not found, Is not an object, and other various errors). Restarting the application allows the user to continue to work.

Packing, reindexing, deleting the offending row do not resolve the problem. I deleted the offending row and reentered it manually, and the row that followed the offending row becomes the offending row (same error behavior).

I also created a new table, appended records from the corrupt table, and substituted the new table for the old. Same results as before.

I am aware of the Stonefield tool and FoxFix, but am praying for a quicker fix. I know this is not helping you, just adding my experience in hopes that it will help someone figure out what has happened.
