>>>Whatever Donald Trump's accomplishments, or non, his focus on the travesty that's called the NFL will be a lasting one.
>>>For those who haven't read about Aaron Hernandez's scans, take a look.
>>>Hard to call someone who murdered people a victim, but he might have been.
>>>I see it starting in the early high school years here, where coaches and administrators "nurture" prospects - who are really victims.
>>>
>>>The good news is that the NFL has committed the ultimate crime - its ratings are down.
>>>It's boring.
>>>You can just see people knocking each other senseless so many times before yawning.
>>>Once an avid NFL fan, the only game, or part thereof, that I watch all year is the Super Bowl, and that's really a social get together.
>>>The NBA, NASCAR and NHL aren't far behind.
>>
>>I'm a little confused by what you're saying there --- I take it that you seem to have some sort of issue with the players taking a knee?

>I supported King and I'll support anyone who suffers - King was jailed and finally killed- because of his attempts to correct an injustice.

>Someone who kneels during a game and drives away in a Maserati paid for the very people he's insulting will have a hard time finding sympathy with me.

Ok first of all it's before the game not during the game, and secondly that Maserati they bought they got with money they earned and they work for someone who they've made enough money to by 1000 Maserati's -- what you think this is some sort of handout or charity or something? And who the hell are they insulting by protesting racial discrimination and police killing black people? What they insulting NeoNazi's or something? They're not asking for sympathy from you so you don't need foo find any.

>>>Or is it that you think the game is too soft now?
>
>The game is corrupt as are most college and professional sports.

But that has nothing to do with Trump saying the game should be more violent -- despite the fact all we know about the brain injury's it causes and such, or the false narrative Trump is spewing (which it seems you may of fallen for). Trump is falsely claimed that this is somehow a show of disrespect for our country and soldiers. Do you know about the veteran who gave Colin Kaepernick the idea to kneel in the first place? or what exactly the peaceful protest is about? Now secondly - before Trump came along with his stupid hate filled speech none of this had anything to do with Trump, did it? So then Trump says the owners should fire the players for doing this....sooo NOW when they protest, they're protesting him too. See that is a bit dictator-ish isn't it? See the problem here? And you want to complain about the NFL players -- you're ticked off at the wrong people for the wrong reasons I think.

>Is anyone really surprised by this:

Yes this type of thing has been going on since college sports turned into a big-buck business. The football coaches are the highest paid people at colleges instead of the educators -- has nothing to do with kneeling at the NFL games though.

>Tiger Woods' father, a retired GI, bought a multi-million dollar house while Tiger was playing for Stanford.
>That GI pension is amazing!

...again this is has nothing to do with kneeling at the NFL games.
