That update was applied last night on my PC:

2017-10 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1703 for x64-based Systems (KB4041676)

When I came back this morning, once I did the login, I ended in my desktop with no tasks. Then, they started to be started again by themselves. It appears that update shutted down everything which was running. It then tried to recover as best as it can. However, it creates a real mess. Windows were no longer aligned as to where they were. The Visual Studio projects were no longer able to see their files, got corrupted messages, and so on. I took me about 30 minutes to recover from that update.
