It appears that update shutted down everything which was running. It then tried to recover as best as it can. However, it creates a real mess. Windows were no longer aligned as to where they were. The Visual Studio projects were no longer able to see their files, got corrupted messages, and so on. I took me about 30 minutes to recover from that update.
