>>Yo I just sighted one example. There are plenty of women in combat positions.

Combat Units. Not necessarily frontline combat. But you continue to ignore the opinion of the successful enlisted officer in Bill's citation, or my example of the biological boy winning the girls' races. That's Bill's point, not some sort of blanket across-the-board demeaning attitude to women as you seem determined to paint it.

My view is that the outcome of boy strength versus girl strength used to be fairly predictable, despite the presence of some very strong girls who turn the tables.

Now? I'd say that any woman who can win her way into the combat elite despite what ought to be obvious physical disadvantages, is a mighty warrior who you'd need to think twice before taking on. She wants to be on the front line? I say let her. If it turns out bad, Bill can say "I told you so" and you can scoff and call him names.
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us.
"
