>>We can stop the slaughter any time we want by just leaving, the way the Russians did.

Sort of like Viet Nam, you mean? Or how about Korea? See how well that turned out.

>>Economic injustice is even easier.
>>If we'd reinstate the tax rates of the 1960's, repeal NAFTA and all the other anti-worker acts passed since Reagan, and tax billionaire estates at 90+ percent, we'd be there in a blink.

You focus on NAFTA when it's the determined offshoring of US industry to China that did the worst damage. Easier to dump on the Canadians and Mexicans than China, I guess. As for mega-taxes: internationalization of the money system means the chances of taxing billionaires at 90+% are zero. Your best option is to reflect that 30% of a billion is better than 90+% of nothing. Which is what you can expect if anybody were so foolish as to try to hit them with the highest taxes in the world.
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us.
"
