First, lets not forget that just hours ago you didn't know that Cohen was even the dossier, so you needn't now act expert and come up with fresh rationalizations relying on something you didn't even know when you called him a liar.

Second, the paraphrases get you in trouble. Far better to use actual terms and what was actually said rather than approximations skewed towards something unsubstantiated you want to call true.

Because of course Trump is *allowed* to have ties to Russia. He ran beauty pageants, he did (or attempted) real estate deals and did all sorts of things to be expected of his previous career.

He's even allowed to have pee pee sessions with Russian prostitutes. Even to "collude" with Russians. It's not a crime, and Cohen didn't need to deny covering it up, since that's not a crime either.

What Cohen did deny, was being linchpin of illegal conspiracy between Trump and Russia, or having traveled to Moscow to meet Kremlin officials to clean up after Manafort, and other allegations of criminality.

Third, how is Cohen responsible for something a real estate dealer emails to him trying to bring a Trump Tower to fruition? Bragging (sic) by somebody called Sater isn't a slam dunk proof that Cohen helped cover up conspiracy or an illegal contribution from Russians as you seem to infer.
If that sort of logic were true, somebody could email you something scurrilous and then have you arrested as the responsible party.
