>It's like the schoolyard game of "It": doesn't matter how strenuously you try to stay clean, if they can lay a finger on you, then you're "It" and everybody must run away from you screaming. That's how life works: if you unknowingly sit at the same table or employ or even (gasp!) shake hands with somebody who has great references but turns out to be a crook, you should be jailed immediately.
Ha, good point.
I have two general questions.
1) If the Russians indeed acquired thousands of Clinton emails and then needed to inform Papadopoulos that they had them, how could the Trump campaign have been involved with acquiring those emails?
2) Remember, DNC refused to turn servers over to the FBI. If the DNC had turned its servers over for FBI exam after alleged Russia hacking of emails, what would have been found? Why didn't FBI didn't just take servers?
Final point. Correct me if I'm wrong, but Papadopoulos pleaded guilty to lying - not for trying to arrange a meeting with the Russians.
This is serious stuff for Manafort - but even as someone who detests Trump, I think it's a wild stretch to believe Trump should be sweating.
