>>>And yes I understand the attempts by people to distance themselves, but that doesn't change the facts...and it would seem clear that those who choose to go around and actually tell lies regarding this in an attempt to skew how close they really were are just making matters worse for themselves and end up appearing more guilty than they would of if they'd just kept their mouth shut to begin with.

>You're describing Papadopoulos, not anybody he may have tried to sting. And referring to my earlier scenario involving you and Bill: if you replied "yeah I remember something about you having Russian intel but pretty sure the answer was "no thanks"... maybe something about legality? I can't go against that, so I'm no good to you, sorry."
>
>What can you pin on me from that?

That makes no sense and you're quoting him not me - so ask him.

>>> None of any of this is going to end well for those involved in this mess, and it's becoming doubtful that Trump's presidency is going to last the whole 4 year term.

>So far he's Teflon Man afaics.

So far yep. But even Teflon John Gotti got nailed eventually.

>>>>I mean the guy got on national TV and did an interview and said he fired Comey because of the Russia investigation (ya know...admitted obstruction). What a freakn moron.

>He refers 7 times to reasons why Comey is the wrong man for the job, but not once do I hear him say it was because of the Russian investigation- about which he says 3 times that he wants a credible and final conclusion. What are you hearing, and at what point in the interview?

He clearly admits 'this Russia thing' part of reasoning for firing Comey. And really dude - why do you think he fired him? You think it's really because of the way he handled HRC's emails? The way Comey handled that is partly why Trump won the election - common sense at some point has to be taken into account here. He wanted Comey to say he wasn't under investigation, was 'loyal' to Trump, and to wrap up the Russia investigation - Comey would do none of that so he fired him. aka - obstruction. But unless Paul Ryan is willing to do something about it, it really does not matter what Trump admits to right?

What I'm waiting for and hoping for is that Muller questions Trump - that will be great. Trump is not only stupid, but he actually thinks he's smarter than everyone else (ya know he says 'has the best words' and is 'a very intelligent person') - and when it comes to having to go off script and answer questions or think 'on the spot' he always fails horribly. Trump will walk in there thinking he can lie an b.s. his way though it in front of the most qualified prosecutor team ever assembled in the USA hahahaha
