>The above indicates you are probably producing a Code32 barcode. It requires an asterisk as a start character and an asterisk as an ending character. If you are using some of the online windows Code32 fonts, you will have to include the asterisks yourself. Check the non-printing field to see if the font selected is identical to the printing field. Suppressing the Human Readable characters is usually a font option or a different font selection.
