While that is correct, the more frightening aspect is for me the gall to bluster about "foreign intervention" when even democratically elected governments were toppled if it was deemed necessary or a company with limited area of operations (oil or fruit are nice examples) needed it.
The sane approach would be to acknowledge that foreign centers of disinformation were just doing their job, as the ones in the US do - anything more I consider to stem from an area I am cautious of in muslims, bible thumpers and other fanatics - manifest destiny never spoke to me personally ;-)
