I voted for Trump because I thought- and still think- that he was the lesser of two evils.
I thought, and still think, that the democratic party had lost its way when it nominated someone as despicable as Hillary Clinton who, with her husband, did more to hurt working people than Trump can do in a hundred years.
I don't support either party blindly, but in an even match, I'll usually choose the democrat.

No, I don't like what the republicans are doing in the house and senate, but they don't need Trump to do those things.
Look at what they did while Obama was in office.
I'm working with the NJ democrats trying to unseat some of the worst republican offenders in the house. One from my district has been in office for decades but I think we have a shot at him.

I was happy to see the democrats make gains here in the New Jersey state legislature and in several country and town races. I campaigned for some of the local candidates.

We got rid of Christie and his republican would-be successor, but let me remind you that the only reason Christie was elected in the first place was that the democrat, Jon Corzine failed miserably as governor.
If a republican is elected governor of New Jersey- a deep blue state- the democrats have done something seriously wrong.

Bad governance often forces people to seek out some desperate choices and we're had bad governance at the federal level for more than 30 years.

If we don't fix that, the next guy might make you look back at Trump fondly.
