>> Here is another prediction - if that happens then he will probably be expelled from the Senate or resign before that happens even though it's very are and would require a 2/3's majority vote. Needless to say they don't take rejecting a voters pick lightly - but it can (and has) happened and probably would in this case.
They won't allow their feelings to determine their behavior, though. IMHO the first thing they'll do is subpoena the yearbook. The second IMHO will be subpoena of police and mall records re the mall banning or failing that, mall managers from the time who are still alive. IMHO they'll thank but excuse the adult "victims" who aren't victims at all and it will boil down to the 16-year-old woman who alleged attempted rape who produced a signed yearbook, and the other disgusting allegations regarding a 14-year-old child.
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us."
